In an official statement says Knotfest Chile the organizers are to blame Brown‘s absence on his “health problems.” However, local radio station Future reported it Brown missed the Santiago concert after contracting COVID-19. Rex reportedly flew from Bogotá, Colombia, where PANTHER performed at Knotfest Colombia Friday (December 9), home to the United States in quarantine, whereby the rest of PANTHER shows in South America.
Association of Surviving Members Brown and Anselmo in PANTHER‘s reformed lineup is guitarist Zak Wylde (OZZY OSBOURNE, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY) and drummer Charlie Benante (MILDEW).

According to Billboardhas the lineup been given the green light by the properties after the band’s founders, drummer Vincent “Vinnie Paul” Abbott and guitarist “Dimebag” Darrell Abbottas well as Brown, who last year said Wylde would not tour with PANTHER if a reunion were to take place. It is unclear what changed his mind.
Until his passing, Vinnie remained on non-speaking terms with Anselmowhich the drummer indirectly blamed Dime bag‘s death.
Vinnie Paul and Dime bag co-founder PANTHER. When PANTHER broke up in 2003, they formed DAMAGE PLAN. On December 8, 2004, while performing with DAMAGE PLAN at the Alrosa Villa in Columbus, Ohio, Dime bag was shot dead on stage by a disturbed schizophrenic who believed that the members of PANTHER stole his thoughts.
Winnie died on June 22, 2018 at his second home in Las Vegas at the age of 54. He died of dilated cardiomyopathy, an enlarged heart, and severe coronary artery disease. His death was the result of chronic weakening of the heart muscle – which basically means that his heart could not pump blood as well as a healthy heart.
